Picture(s) of the day (February 8, 2010)

On a stroll through our village a few days ago, we came past this paddock, which is one of the many where we live. It was freezing outside, but the horses didn’t seem to have a problem with that.

“Don’t feed!”

Olympus E-P1 + Lumix G 20/1.7 @ f/1.8, 1/80 sec, ISO 200

I liked the snowy scenery, so I grabbed some more shots among which I got the following one, which I like most out of the batch. In pp I had to push the white balance to its maximum setting for warmth – ooc the colors were all blueish … Also noteworthy is that I framed this one with the Helios Multifinder Mk II …! It took me two or three attempts until I got a result I could live with. It was fun though :-)

I also like the color the image got during pp!
