About myself

My name is Felix L. Esser, I am a freelance writer based in south-western Germany, in a small town wedged in-between the borders to Switzerland and France, surrounded by mountain ranges to the west, east and south.

Until the end of 2014, I was working as a freelance online journalist for various international publications focusing on photography and technology, including Imaging Resource, Digital Trends and dkamera.de. Previously, I was News Editor of The Phoblographer. Currently, I have a day job in marketing and do some journalistic and PR work at the side.

Being fluent in both English and German, I offer copywriting, text editing as well as translations in both languages. Inquiries can be sent to one of the email addresses below.

I studied historical linguistics at the Philipps-Universität in Marburg, Germany, and worked as an associate in several research projects. Currently, I am preparing my doctoral thesis on the language of the ancient Hittites for publication.
