The christmas series continues with another illuminated christmas star. Unlike those featured recently, this one was plain white. Not the best surroundings for photographing landscapes … except if a juxtaposition of nature and industry is what you’re looking for. On the christmas market Cologne Neumarkt today. I like the calm and peaceful expression of the statuette — somehow antithetical to the busy consumerism you’re seeing everywhere these days. I saw this car in a parking lot and just had to take a picture — love that bonnet design I took a picture of a small Santa figurine yesterday, but left my camera at home (we’re at the in-laws’ for the holidays.)
