Here are my PAD picture of the last three days, which I didn’t get around to post until today. PAD #97 | “New toy” | This is one of Emil’s new toys that he got for christmas, a little wooden train with wooden tracks that can be arranged in a number of ways. Especially fun for a little boy like him: the trains runs on a battery!  Leica M8 + Planar 50/2 @ f/2, 1/45 sec, ISO 1250 The christmas series continues with another illuminated christmas star. Unlike those featured recently, this one was plain white. So no significant information was lost upon conversion to b&w  Leica M8 + Planar 50/2 @ f/2, 1/45 sec, ISO 640 The region where my wife’s family lives is plastered with power plants. Whichever direction you look, chances are you’ll see a plant somewhere on the horizon. Not the best surroundings for photographing landscapes … except if a juxtaposition of nature and industry is what you’re looking for.  Leica M8 + Planar 50/2 @ f/8, 1/500 sec, ISO 160 I saw this car in a parking lot and just had to take a picture — love that bonnet design  Leica M8 + Planar 50/2 @ f/4, 1/90 sec, ISO 160 Distant city lights, with different brightness, in different colours, and a car passing by — maximally blurred by a wide-open Zeiss 50/2 Planar focused @ .7 metres.
