The German photography magazine ‘ColorFoto’ is available as a free ‘eMagazin’ via WAi Pages. Each month, you can read the current issue online for free. (I don’t know for how long they have been offering this service – I just found out today.) WAi (‘Wide Area Infoboard’) offer several media broadcasting services, such as the ‘WAi Pages’. Via the ‘WAi Kiosk‘, several different German magazines are available online for free.  Olympus E-P1 + Lumix 20/1.7 @ f/1.7, 1/2500 sec, ISO 200 I know I’m a bit late – but hey, it’s still easter! This shot was taken on the autobahn today, on the way to Emil’s grandparents. I saw the misty hills from afar and got the right lens mounted just in time to get one shot. As you see, I had to crop it. Processed in Lightroom 3 beta and again played with merging a color + b&w version.

This is a shot I’ve wanted to take for quite some time now, but didn’t find the right opportunity. Yesterday I was working late, and the main hall of the humanities was dark and empty – perfect! Then I remembered a hint from Amy Medina, who told me she was working with black and white adjustment layers in Photoshop. Since I don’t have Photoshop, I imported both the color and b&w versions into Paint.NET and merged them – I think I quite like the look so far! | ||||
