This was originally intended as yesterday’s potd, but being busy with processing files from my M8, I totally forgot about it. As I’ve had no shooting opportunity yet today, and it has in addition now become overcast, this is now to be today’s picture.
I have no idea who put that camera up there and why. Public surveillance? Hobby film project? Voyeur? Stalker? Your guess is as good as mine.

UPDATE: When walking down that street later that day, I notice the camera was gone. Now what’s that supposed to mean!?
 Just bikes.
Bikes. Bicycles, Scooters, Motorcycles – they come in all shapes and colours, and they can be found anywhere. In cities, on the countryside, inside buildings … They can be dirt cheap or insanely expensive. They can be brand new or terribly battered. In some countries, they’re the primary means of transportation. But above all, bikes are everywhere. In fact, they’re so common we often don’t realize they’re even there, and thus might overlook an interesting scene. With this gallery, my aim is to capture scenes with bikes involved, no matter how ordinary they might seem. Because sometimes, it’s the ordinary that’s special!

We were on a bike tour today and wanted to cross the river at this bridge, but it looks like some planks got loose, so they closed it for all traffic. Had to take a minor detour, through which we got to see some new places

Saw this guy clinging to the coffe machine this morning. After taking a couple shots, I caught him with a glass and a piece of cardboard and released him to either freedom or life as prey. Guess I’ll never know … b&w conversion in Lightroom 3 beta 2 (yup, still running the beta, but planning on getting the final soon!)

It’s been too hot recently to sit down and process pictures, so there was no update for the last six days. Now I’ve finally decided to reduce the heap of unprocessed pictures on my memory card … Here’s one from yesterday.
