PAD #71 | “Sunbathing angel”

Been to a very good, sofar unknown-to-me Italian restaurant with my dad last night. Delicious! This little angel was sitting on a ledge inside, and in the strong evening light it looked like it was taking a sunbath :-)

University Hospital of Marburg | Interior Impressions

While revisiting the hospital yesterday, I used the opportunity to take some architectural impressions of the hospital’s interior. The hospital consists of two parts: and old section and a new section, directly adjacent to the former, but built very recently (and partially still under construction). The emergency station is in the new section, and from there I wandered through the corridors up to the main entrance hall in the old section.

PADs #67 & #69 | “Rusty lamppost” & “Emergencies”

The past days were a bit out of the ordinary — that’s why I didn’t post my PAD pictures in time, and why there isn’t a PAD #68. In short, my cold (or flu or whatever it was) got worse, and I was knocked out for several days. I even had to spend a night in hospital because I fainted from heavy intestinal colics … no, it wasn’t very funny, but luckily I’m almost back to normal again.

#67 | This was taken on thursday and should’ve been posted on friday — but that was when I had to go to hospital.

PAD #66 | “On the slide”

Another lazy, eventless day. At least I felt fit enough in the afternoon to go out in the garden with Emil.

PAD #60 | “Pink flowers / Complementary”

This is exactly the kind of picture that Fujichrome Velvia was made for, I believe. Just look at the colour rendition! Isn’t that crazy? And together with the drawing of the Zeiss Planar, this picture looks so alive you think it’s about to pop out of the screen and hit you in the face!

I’ve used the combination of the E-P1 + Planar 50/2 ZM for almost a week now, and I think I’ve got a good feeling now for what they can do (and cannot do) together. I’ve taken a lot more pictures than just the few PADs I published recently, so I’m shortly going to write a little article on the E-P1+Planar combo, with more pictures for your enjoyment! :-)
