PAD-Project: Week #4, Picture #3

Finally! The sun did come out again this afternoon and stayed until dawn. So Emil and I took the opportunity to go for a walk and enjoy the light and warmth — and of course to take some pictures :-)

This PC clinic is right across from our house, and I had thought of taking its picture for quite some time, but never got around to. So here you go :-)

PAD-Project: Week #4, Picture #2

Again not a day to take pictures. It’s still overcast and drizzling from time to time, so I’m really hoping we’ll get some sunrays tomorrow.

While Emil was bathing this evening, I realized that my wife had put this little angel on the bathroom window ledge, where it looks somehow unmotivated and ill-placed, yet in a way interesting and provoking.

PAD-Project: Week #4, Picture #1

As I have recently received a new lens, the Zeiss Planar T* 2/50 ZM, it’s pretty obvious that it’s going to be my PAD lens for this week.

Today’s PAD was shot on our way to do some grocery shopping. It had been raining continuously since yesterday, and luckily Emil insisted on putting on his rubber boots — otherwise this picture wouldn’t have been possible! :-)

PAD-Project: Week #3, Picture #7

Hm. This isn’t quite how I imagine the third week of my PAD project to end. Not only did I totally forget to take a picture today (probably because we spent the weekend at the in-laws and traveled back home today), I also realised this when it was already too late (and too wet) to go out shooting. So I decided to take a quick snap of something inside, and this Buddha figurine and the crystal lamp next to him was the first scene I came by. Not ideally suited for a wide angle, but I find the juxtaposition of Buddha and the light quite interesting.
