Picture of the day (March 9, 2011)

On saturday, we had wonderful springtime weather, so we decided to go for a walk with friends. Along the way, I stumbled upon what seemed to be the first crocuses of this year (at least the first one I have seen). Yay for crocuses! They’re always a sign that finally spring is coming!

In the streets of Cologne, December 2010

Over christmas, we were visiting the in-laws who live near Cologne. My friend Erik, now living in NYC, was in Germany visiting his family, and we took the opportunity to meet. Here’s a selection of street- and other photographs taken at that opportunity.
