It’s been snowing like crazy these past days, as I’m sure you already know from my previous posts

On the left, you can see the chimney of the wood-fueled fireplace heating our house, attached to the adjacent barn that our landlord is currently converting into an additional flat. (I think this scene has been featured elsewhere before … :-))
 "Snow frenzy" | Leica M8 + Ultron 28/1.9 @ f/1.9, 1/1000 sec, ISO 160 Saturday was family day, and we decided to drive to town and visit the christmas market. At this occasion, I excercised a little “street shooting”, at which admittedly I’m not very good. But what’s the expression? — Practice makes perfect!
 Leica M8 + Ultron 28/1.9 @ f/1.9, 1/125 sec, ISO 160 Remember: you can click each picture to open a larger (1000 px) version! There are many of these dark and cramped alleys in the historic center of Marburg, but this is one I particularly like for some reason I wasn’t able to figure out yet.

This is how it was snowing the day before yesterday:
