Picture of the day (December 9, 2010)

It’s been snowing like crazy the whole morning, and it’s still continuing. On the left, you can see the chimney of the wood-fueled fireplace heating our house, attached to the adjacent barn that our landlord is currently converting into an additional flat. (I think this scene has been featured elsewhere before … :-))

Impressions from the christmas market

Saturday was family day, and we decided to drive to town and visit the christmas market. At this occasion, I excercised a little “street shooting”, at which admittedly I’m not very good. But what’s the expression? — Practice makes perfect! :-) (All pictures shot DNG and processed in Lightroom 3.2.)
