PAD #53 | “Heavy duty”

This construction site was featured earlier (I believe on of my first PAD pictures featured the same heap of dirt), and the work is still going on there. Still no clue as to what they’re actually doing …

Plain Lr3 processing this time, as Color Efex didn’t give me the result I was looking for.

Leica M8 + Biogon 28/2.8 @ f/2.8, 1/4000 sec, ISO 160

P.S.: You might have noticed I switched to a different title with this PAD post — I think I like it better this way.

P.P.S.: This is my 501st post, PAD #52 was the 500th :-)

PAD-Project: Week #8, Picture #2

Seen on my way to work. Now that the most beautifully blooming trees have all lost their flowers, it’s the turn of the bushes and small flowers :-)

Lr3 + Color Efex Pro @ Fujichrome Sensia 100. I love the natural, yet saturated colours of that emulation.

PAD #51 | "Flowery bouquet" | Leica M8 + Biogon 28/2.8 @ f/2.8, 1/500 sec, ISO 160

In the future, I may regularly be posting my PAD pictures in the morning following the day that I took them, since in the evenings I’m often not in the mood of processing them.

PAD-Project: Week #8, Picture #1

Emil recently got a little garden slide from an older boy who doesn’t use it anymore. He loooves slides, so this was the perfect present :-)

Lr3 + Color Efex Pro @ Kodachrome 64.

PAD #50 | "Private playground" | Leica M8 + Biogon 28/2.8 @ f/2.8, 1/500 sec, ISO 160

PAD-Project: Week #7, Pictures #6 and #7

We spent the weekend at my father’s, as he was celebrating his birthday. I had no internet access there, so I couldn’t post my PAD pictures for the last two days in time.

All pictures I took this weekend are family snaps and party scenes. So here are two shots of Emil, which I liked very much and thus decided to make my PAD pictures for week 7, days 6 and 7. Both were processed in Nik Silver Efex, #48 with the Neopan ACROS 100 preset, and #49 with the Ilford Delta 100 preset.

PAD #48 | "Lurking inside" | Leica M8 + Planar 50/2 @ f/2, 1/500 sec, ISO 160

PAD #49 | "Reflection" | Leica M8 + Planar 50/2 @ f/2, 1/125 sec, ISO 160

PAD-Project: Week #7, Picture #5

Someone put these old sofas in their yard. Developed in Lightroom 3 + Color Efex Pro using the Fuji 160S preset, which has a slight blueish-greenish tint to it that I found works very well in this picture.

PAD #47 | "Old sofas" | Leica M8 + Biogon 28/2.8 @ f/2.8, 1/125 sec, ISO 160

P.S.: I finally got a new sharpie pen and coded my two Zeiss lenses! The 50 Planar as a current version 50 Summicron, and the 28 Biogon as a v4 (pre-aspheric) 28 Elmarit. Works well, could be better with the Biogon.
