Off-topic: Amazon do care for their customers!

This has nothing to do with photography, but I still wanted to share this little episode with you.

For weeks now I’ve been getting eMails from Amazon, telling me that there was a payment on my Amazon Marketplace seller’s account which they would like to transfer to my bank accout. Since I couldn’t remember ever having such an account, nor ever selling anything via Amazon Marketplace, I ignored those eMails until yesterday, when I decided to write to Amazon and ask them why they kept sending me those messages.

It turned out that back in 2002 I actually did sell something via Marketplace, namely a CD by Glenn Gould, for 9,49 €, and that the money had indeed never been transferred to my bank account.
Funny, huh? After seven and a half years they get back to me to mell me they owe me ten bucks :-) But at least this shows that they thoroughly keep track of the transactions being made via their platform, and that they care about everything going the right way!

P.S.: I’m working on my review of the Cosmicar/Pentax 25/1.4, so expect it soon!
